Heel Spurs

Heel spurs and heel pain are usually the result of tearing the fascia heel ligament attachment, barring a heel bone injury. Left untreated, the body responds to these injuries by trying to reinforce the ligament attachment. It does this by growing more bone material around the ligament attachment. Unfortunately, this bone does not grow in smooth layers but rather in nodules or spikes - resulting in painful heel spurs.
Rockin'Feet's ability to support the arch reduces the stress on the fascia heel ligament which reduces the pain. Supporting the arch also reduces the pressure on the heel spur which also reduces pain.
The additional circulation to the damaged ligament helps heal the cause of the problem, hopefully before a heel spur develops. Lastly Rockin'Feet's massaging action actually helps relieve the heel soreness while the physical action of the massage will help to break down the reabsorb the heel spur over time.
